If you’re anything like me (and my siblings) you LOVE your Pops! He is the man who has always been there for you providing unconditional love, support and wisdom throughout the journey. Now, that deserves an amazing Father’s Day present don’t you think? Still trying to think of what you can get Dad (other than a tired tie!)? I have three awesome, quick solutions for you. 1. Like Jim Koch says, “give him something he really wants” this year. And what might that be, you ask?
Hellllooo and good afternoon! I am not going to lie, focusing today has been a challenge. Game 7 is on tonight at 8pm and I cannot really focus on much else (if you have seen my outfit today, you are not surprised. It is a constant reminder!). Lunch was leftovers from Adam’s dinner last night. Even thought I was not home, I got to enjoy the benefits of him cooking and ate leftovers for lunch! I had a chicken sausage topped with spicy mustard on a whole wheat roll with a side salad. Recently someone (cough, cough, Adam) was complaining...

Morning! How are you all? Well, I am kind of tired. The good news is my fever is gone and I am getting my voice back, but those two symptoms were replaced with a cough. I was up all night coughing and I felt so badly because I know I kept waking poor Adam up. Luckily, I was tweeting with Ally today and she said she had the same thing and the cough is the last thing to come. So this may be a sign this virus is on it’s way out! PLEASE BE TRUE!
Melissa Nibbles: Hey there! Happy Hump Day! I was having trouble thinking of something to write about today and what does a blogger do when they run out of ideas? A list! An easy thing to do is list things you like so here are some things I’m into lately. 1. Thumbs Up on Netflix. This series follows host David Choe as he hitchhikes, hops trains, and scams rides across America interviewing modern-day hobos and unlikely characters along the way. I like this series because not only is it funny, but it’s cool to see how different Americans are all...

Day 7 consisted of shopping and walking around Notting Hill, dinner at Cafe Rouge and a Jack the Ripper tour (Scary! And long!). And day 8 was one of my favorite days (and my last ). It consisted of a lovely trip to Stonehenge and Bath with dinner at the Firehouse Rotisserie in Bath. So amazing! Click to view slideshow. Sadly, that’s all for my London recap. It was one of the best trips ever. I feel so lucky and blessed I got to experience it all, so a big thank you to my Mom and Dad for letting me...

Genius. Fog and Smog just released this LOL worthy rap video about shopping and finding a parking space for their Prius at Whole Foods. It’s so dead-on you’d think they’ve been with me at the Whole Foods on River Street in Cambridge. You know, the glorious Whole Foods on the second floor, where there’s some secret way of getting your grocery cart to the 2nd to 1st floor that I’m not privy to. Anyway, you need to watch this now. These guys know the deal with those little shopping carts, although I’m fairly certain they’ve never tried to maneuver them...

Good morning! I’m still dragging to work today, but I blame that on staying up watching the Bruins game last night and ironing until almost midnight. Don’t ask me why I was ironing at that hour, but the mood struck so I went with it. You’d be surprised at how much of a neat freak I’ve turned into since moving to my apartment. I know! Do you believe it? It’s a well known fact how much I hate to clean and really don’t even know how, but when you live in a studio apartment, things can get nasty pretty fast....

Boston-area food lovers, listen up! You need to make a road trip or a ferry trip up to Truro this summer to experience eat @Adrian’s, the Cape Cod summer home to Boston’s Eat and chef in residence, Will Gilson, formerly of Garden at the Cellar. Adrian’s is light, open, and beachy, with nice little touches like fresh rosemary plants and candles in jars of sand on the tables. There are, of course, Eat stamps everywhere. We decided to listen to the message and went for it. Creative, handcrafted cocktails started off the evening. I went for the Beyond the Garden,...

We also had a lovely dinner together and got to see We Will Rock You, based on the music of Queen (one of my favorite bands ever).
