It’s Friday and we know what that means….It’s time for It’s OK! I don’t read Glamour because I’m too busy living it, but I do like their “It’s OK…”feature where they assure us that our weird little habits are completely normal. I’m dedicating this post to assuring you it’s okay to do the following this weekend:
I didn’t have a lot of time to write this last night so I asked Marie help me out with a few. Take it Marie!
- To not like exercise! I see so many people out there who claim to be these super passionate and committed healthy living gurus and fitness fanatics, but constantly need some kind of gimmick or distraction or trick to just to stomach a workout. OWN IT. We work out because it makes us feel good…later.
- To not post photos of your workout. We believe you! We don’t need a blurry photo of you on the treadmill or your sweaty ass doing thumbs-up in your car afterward. In fact, I’d actually prefer not to see those.
- To NOT wear makeup when you run. Swimmer’s mascara…who needs it? FUG IS THE NEW HOT!
Haha! Okay, it’s Melissa again. Gotta say I agree with all of those. My turn:
- To drive a half hour to Whole Foods and just get salad. Anything to get you away from your psycho roommates.
- To wonder how disappointed the parents of amateur mimes and clowns are. Seriously, clowning it up in the T station is quite a few rungs down from the circus.
- To stop sending me emails or Twitter DM’s asking me if I’m FakeCaitlin or know who it is. No, I’m not and I didn’t know about it until I started receiving emails. I’m glad you all assume I’m a coward bitch though. Thanks!
- To respond with, “Don’t worry. That will pass.” When a guy tells you he likes you. Well, it usually does within a day or two.
- To rock out to a song I like listening to in my car:
Have a good weekend!
