Off to FitBloggin

I’m off to FitBloggin ’11. As far as niche goes this is about as niche as you can get.  I’ll be communing with 350 of my blogging fitness buddies about all things blogging and fitness.

This conference means a lot to me.  It was held in March last year and because of FitBloggin ’10 you’re reading this today.  I came back from that conference with a definite attitude.  ”Either take yourself seriously as a blogger or quit.”  I chose to take myself seriously and here I am.

It has lead me to become a daily blogger and to have a great relationship with the folks at FitStudio.com.  Much more than that though is the friends I’ve met along the way.  The other fabulous men and women who care as much as I do about helping people live healthier lives.

Speaking of which, I’ll be moderating a panel about the responsibilities bloggers have to their readers.  What do you think about our responsibility to you?  I think at the minimum we owe you credible, research-based information and we owe you our honest opinions.

So I’m off, wish me luck, I can’t wait to meet online friends face to face, to see old friends and give them hugs and to meet a whole group of people entirely new to me.

Yay! Fitbloggin!

Cheers,

Lisa
