Bags and Cross-Dressing

Hello, my lovelies! How are you all doing on this fine Friday? I am doing well. It is such a beautiful day here in Boston, I can’t wait until I can spent some time outside!

Last night after work I contemplated going out and being a party animal on Cinco De Mayo. But, honestly, I shouldn’t really being partying while on these meds and until I am done with them I have to lay low. I decided to celebrate in my own way- with a burrito and my DVR.

I got a black bean burrito with rice, salsa, guacamole and cheese. I only ended up eating about 1/3 of it though. I got full pretty quickly- what else is new?

I actually had a few bites then ate all the “good stuff”.  :)

I ate it while watching Glee. I am a few weeks behind, so I watched the Born This Way Episode! I LOVE!!!! Seriously! So good! If you haven’t seen it- here this their performance.

The whole idea of the shirts is that they write something about themselves that they don’t like  or are ashamed of. I thought it was so awesome to see them all own things that they don’t like about themselves. I mean, come on, Sam would be so much less adorable without his trout mouth. Mr. Shuster would not be nearly as attractive without his butt chin (I am a huge fan of the butt chin, so I may be bias).  And Rachel without that nose? No way!  It is interesting that the things we dislike about ourselves are the things that make us seem so “us” to other people. We usually hate those things because they make us stand out from the crowd- but that is what is so awesome about about those pieces of us.

If I made a shirt mine would say “Bags”. Thanks to FFF Dad, I was gentically blessed with under eye bags. They are there when I am wide awake or tired. Sometimes they aren’t so bad, but sometimes they drive me nuts. Luckily right above them is a set of  gorgeous green eyes  that I love!

What would your shirt say?  Come on, be honest don’t leave me out here all alone.

Anyhow, I woke up this morning exhausted, luckily it is Friday! Breakfast was blueberry yogurt and kashi go lean crunch- and a large iced coffee.

I know you guys are probably getting sick of seeing cereal and yogurt or take out and trust me, I am sick of eating. Adam and I are taking a trip to the grocery store tonight. I am embarrassed to say how long it has been since we went to the grocery store. It’s a shame. But I am soooo looking forward to cooking again. All I want is a fridge full of fresh produce!!!!

Lunch was a greek salad with falafel. I haven’t had falafel in years!!!! It was so good!

Today’s Outfit:
