Half Day

The nice thing about being my own boss is the ability to make my own work schedule. I spent a lot of time glued to my computer this week, so I gave myself permission to work the morning and take the rest of the afternoon off. Hooray for half day Fridays!!

Lunch

This afternoon, I met my friend, Jen, for lunch at The Kinsale, an Irish pub and restaurant in downtown Boston. I love The Kinsale. It’s one of those places I can always count on for a good dining experience.

As soon as we sat down at the table, Jen and I both ordered a drink. A pint of Smuttynose Shoals Pale Ale for me; an extra spicy Bloody Mary for her. TGIF!

To eat, I ordered a Buffalo Chicken Sandwich with fries on the side. I ate almost the entire sandwich, but only a few of the fries. I was really in the mood for buffalo sauce this afternoon!

After lunch, Jen and I headed over to City Hall Plaza in search of the Cookie CAREavan. It didn’t take us long to find it!

A couple of readers met me for cookies too! Thanks for coming, Casey and Stephanie!

I spent the rest of the afternoon doing small projects around the house and hanging out with M & m. Now, I’m relaxing and catching up with my DVR, including the final episode of Oprah. (I bet I’ll cry at the end.)

Have a nice night, guys!!!
