It’s Ok!

It’s Friday! It’s the long weekend! I’m working a half day! I’m so excited! Last night I had dinner with one of girlfriends at Whole Foods. I rocked it out at the salad bar.

Yes, I went to Whole Foods again. I had an excuse though. My friend works nearby and we wanted to go to H&M. I didn’t find anything I liked though. I almost bought sexy undies, but I figured why waste my gift card? Men don’t give a crap. They just want you naked.

I’m excited about a giveaway I have for my local readers. I put it in a separate post here because I know a lot of you don’t live in MA. I promise my next giveaway will be for everyone :)

It’s Friday and we know what that means….It’s time for It’s OK! I don’t read Glamour because I’m too busy living it, but I do like their “It’s OK…”feature where they assure us that our weird little habits are completely normal. I’m dedicating this post to assuring you it’s okay to do the following this weekend:

  • To not lose your license. You’ll just sit at home crying into your Ben & Jerry’s while your friends are out having fun.
  • To figure out what kind of Facebook poster you are. I’m in the other 10%.
  • To give up on painting your nails yourself and haul ass to the salon after you get purple nail polish all over your hands, thighs and in your hair. Just don’t make a habit of it. Watch them and learn!
  • To dance around in front a fan like your one of those rap guys girlfriends. You live by yourself now. YOU DO WHAT YOU WANT!
  • To go ahead and buy that vintage mini-tricycle to stick in the corner of your apartment. No one is going to complain. Bitches’ll think they’re in Anthropologie!
  • To never lose things at work, but always manage to find things in the lost and found box. Hello new bracelet.
  • To be thankful the world didn’t end last weekend. There’s still a chance for you to have sex in 2011!!
  • To wonder why Grape Nuts is such a lie. They are neither grapes nor nuts.
  • To look forward to family bbq’s this weekend because of the fun games. Cornhole, horseshoes, and see how many beers Uncle Joe can drink before he turns into a racist.
  • To be excited that you can finally put your hair in a ponytail. It’s growing!
  • To say “I Do” *this is one of my all time favorite songs:

Any fun plans for the long weekend?
