Hey there! Thanks for your supportive comments about the robbery and thanks for dealing with such an angry post. I’m feeling better today. The cops are still looking for him, but my landlord is putting an alarm in the house today and I’ll be out of there soon. I have a few places to stay if I get really scared, but for now I’ll just stay put. Like I said, I’ll be out soon enough.
I had a doctors appointment last night to have my achilles heel looked at. It looks like it’s a muscle strain. I have to ice the area, try to stretch it and stay off it for a week. This means no half marathon training. AWESOME. Just what I need. After the doctors my “friend” met me at Whole Foods for dinner so I could be out of the house even longer. We met at the Dedham location which is HUGE with an amazing hot bar. He hadn’t been there before and it was funny to see how overwhelmed he was. I decided on my regular salad.

The last few times I’ve been to Whole Foods they’ve had this delicious sesame ginger cashew tofu on the bar. It’s delicious! If you see it, you have to try it. We hung out for a few hours talking and people watching. It cheered me up a lot and got my mind off everything that’s been going wrong lately. A pretty good night overall. Minus the achilles thing of course.
Since the doctor told me to cease the half marathon training until my heel is better, I’m thinking I might take up chair dancing.
What do you guys think? Should I give it a go?
