Three Things Thursday

Happy Thursday! As you’re reading this, I’m at the dentist getting my teeth cleaned. Aren’t you jealous? Well, I decided to take a whole vacation day instead of just going in late as planned. So now you can be jealous. Hey, I need a break and I’m supposed to be resting my foot. I plan on doing nothing but sitting on my butt and watching “Going The Distance”. This dumb romcom I have out from Netflix. I might even paint my nails. Exciting!

Today’s Thursday and normally I do “Three Things Thursday” where I complain about things that are bothering me, but I think you know that my crappy living situation and my achille’s are what’s bothering me. I’ve been in a real bad mood lately and am sick of bitching all the time. There are good things in my life, I had to dig deep to find them, but they’re there. So this week, Three Things Thursday is going to be things I’m happy about. I needed to get my mind off the stress in my life, but don’t worry, I’ll be back to my snarky self next week.

1. Online TV. I would use this opportunity to complain about how much I hate satellite tv, but instead I’ll praise the wonders of being able to watch almost anything online. Why do people pay for cable anymore? You can watch every, single show online directly on the show’s website. If something isn’t available online, just put it in your Netflix que or watch it instant on Netflix. I don’t know where I would be without the internet.

2. My “Friend”. A number of you have asked who my “friend” is. Normally I would tell you to mind your own business, but then again, it’s annoying to have me allude to someone as my “friend” when it’s obvious that it’s someone I’m dating. I hate when bloggers do that. So yes, I’ve been dating someone for about a month now and it’s at the point where I’m not interested in dating anyone else. It’s going well and I’m happy. I respect his privacy so I’ll just refer to him as “J” from now on.

3.Walking. I love it. It’s good for your heart and easy on your joints. You don’t need to kill yourself over-exercising and undereating to stay thin and fit. I stress that a lot on my blog because of everything I went through last year. I see women all over the blog world that run 8 miles a day “just for fun”. They aren’t training for anything and all they eat is salad and bagel thins. It’s a bad message. You don’t need to kill yourself. Walking a half hour and doing some strength training is enough to keep you healthy.

I know you’ve been looking forward to telling me what’s driving you crazy this week, so have it. Was your house robbed? Did someone annoy you with their white girl privilege? Have at it in the comments!
