Back To Work

Happy Monday! Not so happy for me. I’m back at work after a fun vacation. I hung out with friends, ate good food, slept late, read books, went to the movies, all those good things. Saturday I met up with a friend that I hadn’t seen in five years. We ate bone marrow, drank a bottle of wine, drank ruby red vodka, and met some dudes wearing fanny packs. It was a lot of fun. I hope it’s not another five years before we hang out again. If you’re reading this, text me boo!

Yesterday I barely got of bed. Wine does that to me. I didn’t have the energy to cook dinner and was going to get take-out sushi, but I decided to save my money and make something lazy and simple. A while back I was inspired by Betsy who had tweeted that she was eating some yummy ramen noodles. They sounded delicious so I picked some up that very night at Whole Foods.


These are only .99 are organic and have a lot less sodium than the ramen noodles I remember eating in college. I added frozen mixed vegetables to the pot while they were cooking to get some veggies in and it came out fantastic!


As you can see, I don’t like my ramen with broth. I like it as more of a pasta. I also had a salad to make a complete meal. These were amazing. I think I’ve found a new addiction. If only I could find a better option for all the Toaster Strudel I ate in college…
