Melissa Nibbles: Hey there! Happy Hump Day! I was having trouble thinking of something to write about today and what does a blogger do when they run out of ideas? A list! An easy thing to do is list things you like so here are some things I’m into lately.
1. Thumbs Up on Netflix. This series follows host David Choe as he hitchhikes, hops trains, and scams rides across America interviewing modern-day hobos and unlikely characters along the way. I like this series because not only is it funny, but it’s cool to see how different Americans are all across the country.
2. Celebrity Gossip. Okay, don’t judge. As Miranda would say on Sex And The City, “It’s my thing.” I spend a good time of my morning at work catching up on my celebrity gossip. I email about it, tweet about it, and love it. I don’t care what you say, I love it. My favorite sites are DListed, Bossip, and Blind Items Exposed.
3. Whole Foods Salad Bar. I eat here about three times a week now. It’s near the animal shelter I volunteer at and the other times I just need to get out of the house. I swear they put crack in the romaine. This is what I had just last night:
4. Pretty Little Liars. Pretty Little Liars is a show on ABC Family about three rich, young, beautiful teens trying to figure out who killed their best friend. It has mystery, incest, sleeping with teachers and all that good stuff. I don’t care if it’s for 14 year olds. This show is my jam.
5. Pandora Slow Jams Station. If you want to get in the mood or feel like you’re back at your jr. high school dance, this station is for you. It plays Luther Vandross, 112, Drake, Janet Jackson, Boyz 2 Men, and every other smooth singing brother. I like to listen to it when I fall asleep. Makes me feel like there’s a man trying to get up on me. I take what I can get, even if it’s all in my imagination.
6. I’m Into You. I am loving J. Lo’s new music. From “On The Floor” to her new single, “I’m Into You.” I was worried about Jenny From The Block for awhile there. Her music was sucking ass big time, but she’s back with some real club banga’s! This is my favorite song to dance like a slut to.
And of course I’m into the Bruins! Go B’s! Bring home the cup!!!!! What are you into lately?
