Ow!

Happy Hump Day! Can you believe it’s Wednesday already? I’m off Friday so it’s an even shorter week for me. Yay! Yesterday I left work early to meet my friend for lunch and to see the movie “Bridesmaids”. We had already seen it together, but missed the first twenty minutes. He had free passes so we figured we’d go see it again. We met at Whole Foods near the theatre and I got a big ole salad.


My favorite part of Bridesmaids is the part where Jon Hamm pulls up to Kristin Wiig’s character and yells, “Heeeeey…f*ck buddy!” I dyed laughing. So now my friend and I are both obsessed with that part and I already received a text this morning saying “Heeey…f*ck buddy!” Hahaha! Little things entertain me. I’m not sure why I told you any of that….whatever.

The title of my post is about my current workout. I have serious shin splints going on guys! I’m not running, but I’ve been walking these three huge hills that are on the college campus near my apartment and it’s not the walk up that kills, it’s the walk down. It kills my shins! I walked down backwards this morning at one point because I thought it would help. I have no idea if it did. Does anyone know if I should be walking different when I’m going downhill or maybe I should just crawl downhill? Any advice is appreciated!

With it being Hump Day, I wouldn’t feel like a good friend if I didn’t give you one of my favorite songs to celebrate with later on. Shut it down down down ladies!
