As we gather around the dinner table today and give thanks for all the obvious blessings in our lives we should pause and give thanks for being a women and all the hoopla and hullabaloo that goes with it such as…..
Hats: We give thanks for hats. A stylish way to hide well, bad hair days, lazy, crazy mornings, the ride from your house to the salon, disguising yourself from the crazy PTA mom. I don’t know anything about that by the way…….. nope!
Full service Salons: Kate , Christina and I once had our hair blown out and styled for an event by a professional hair stylist and from that day on, we swore if we ever had the chance to choose, husband? Boyfriend? Personal live in Hair Stylist? We would without a shadow of a doubt choose the Stylist! The salon is our few hours of escape and a place we know we will emerge looking fabulous and refreshed. Yes, we are thankful so very thankful for salons.
Fashion Trends: We are thankful that they change so fast that by the time we catch on to one its on sale at TJMAXX! lol!!!
Funfetti Cake Mix: Yes, I have to put this one in. The Mamas go to box of magic when she has to bake 20+ cupcakes in a pinch. Always delicious and I personally love the praise that follows…. You are the BEST baker ever!!! Awe thank you… it’s a gift! Batting eyelashes!!
Oh we could go on and on and on but you probably want to rap this post up so you can go eat some turkey. So we will end with this simple statement……….
