Post-Thanksgiving Workout

Feeling blah after the Thanksgiving holiday? Try this workout!

Cardio:

30-minute Treadmill Workout

Strength (3 sets):

  • 10 push-ups on Bosu
  • 15 crunches on stability ball
  • 20 spider walks on Bosu
  • 15 crunches on stability ball

I woke up feeling pretty blah myself this morning. Too much sugar + booze = sluggish, unmotivated Tina. Instead of just going through the motions with a so-so workout, I kicked my butt with this high-intensity session, and once I finished, I felt like a million bucks. The workout also gave me a ton of energy to start my day. You never regret a workout!

Breakfast

After my workout, I whipped up a cappuccino using my in-law’s fancy Bosch machine. It turned out great—just as good as one from Starbucks!

I also made a bowl of oatmeal with leftover apple crisp mixed in. I added a big scoop of peanut butter for some staying power.

Lunch

A few hours later, I met my mom for lunch at Crossroads Café. She had today off from work, so we met up to hangout.

I ordered a soup + salad combo: chili with melted cheddar and tortilla chips.

And a house salad with croutons and honey mustard.

Delish! I love combo meals. The variety of tastes and textures always satisfies me.

Tonight, I’m accompanying Mal to him 10-year high school reunion. O00h, boy! I hope it’s fun!

Did you attend your 5- or 10-year high school reunion? How was it?

I went to my 10-year high school reunion back in 2008, and it was actually a lot more fun than I expected!
